Parents welcome to Bre-Bre’s Child Development Home (BBCDH). It gives us great pleasure to know that we are a part of the lives of both you and your child. BBCDH has individual cubbies for the children’s personal items, an infant changing table, and 2 square tables for work and eating. We also have a dramatic play area with easels where the children do artwork. There is also a safe recreational area, which is located in the backyard.
BBCDH has been compartmentalized to better effect the learning transition from one subject to another.
All areas are labeled for literacy, enrichment, and accessibility. There is a fully functional bathroom with a step stool so the children can access the sink.
BBCDH was opened on May 23, 1993, the result of Divine inspiration given to Yvonne Stewart-De Lancey (Bonnie), the Founder and Primary Childcare Provider. Having previous experience in the field from working with children at HUD and DOA, BBCDH was a natural progression for Bonnie. The center is fully licensed and Bonnie has her CDA and Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education.
